Physiotherapy
What does a physiotherapist do?
"Physiotherapists help you get the most out of life. They help you recover from injury, reduce pain and stiffness, increase mobility and prevent further injury. They listen to your needs to tailor a treatment specific to your condition. As first contact practitioners, you don’t need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist. Physiotherapists, doctors, and other health professionals will often work as part of a team to plan and manage treatment for a specific condition."

Musculoskeletal pain and injury
Physiotherapists are highly trained in the diagnosis and treatment of pain and injuries of the joints, muscles and soft tissues of the body. This includes back and neck pain, strains of the hamstrings and calf muscles, ankle sprains, tennis elbow, shoulder pain and stiffness and hip and knee pain and stiffness. We know the worst part about pain and injury is the impact it has on your lifestyle, and the things you are prevented from doing. So we want to hear your story, and create a personalised plan to get you back doing the things you love to do.
Getting you moving
Following an injury, surgery, or as we get older, it is common to feel stiff and sore, and less mobile. Our physiotherapists in Willoughby can assist you in creating a plan to get back to doing the activities you love. We know how frustrating it is when you are not able to do things you previously could. We will help you set realistic goals, and follow a plan to achieve them.
Should I see a physiotherapist or a chiropractor?
For many conditions that we see, our physiotherapists and chiropractors are equally skilled. If you know the specific practitioner you would like to see, or the type of professional you would like to see, great, go ahead and book online or call to make an appointment. If you aren't sure, give us a call and we will ask a few questions and book you in with the best person we have to help your specific problem.
