A Complex Area
There are so many parts that can contribute to hip and groin pain. We need to assess you low back, hip joints, knee joints, and a multitude of muscles, ligaments and tendons to arrive at a precise diagnosis for the cause of your pain.
Because of the complexity, unfortunately many people suffer with hip and groin pain for long periods of time. We are experienced in treating both new problems that have just started, and problems that have been bothering you for years.
Treatment for Hip and Groin Pain
As you can imagine, you need an individually tailored plan to treat hip or groin pain. The plan needs to take in to account how the pain started, how long it has been there, what aggravates the pain, and what you want to be able to do.
Initially we focus on reducing your pain, and restoring hip mobility, and then the plan has to progress to improving strength and balance, specific to the activities that are important to you.
