Ben is one of the few practitioners in Sydney dual qualified as both a physiotherapist and chiropractor. Since 2011, as a multi-award-winning physio and chiro, he’s helped many patients at Willoughby Physiotherapy and Chiropractic.
He specialises in helping people overcome chronic and recurring back pain, tailoring treatment plans that combine the best of physio and chiro. Ben also supports patients with neck pain, headaches, and joint issues, from shoulders and elbows to hips, knees and ankles.
As a keen runner, he has a strong interest in treating running injuries and keeping people active at every level. His approach is always centred on what you enjoy most, so your recovery plan feels achievable and fits your lifestyle.
Nick is an engaging physiotherapist with a passion for sports and rehabilitation. Having grown up playing soccer and experiencing his own injuries, he understands the challenges of getting back to full strength. He has also worked with National Premier League teams, giving him strong insight into managing both recreational and competitive athletes.
Nick tailors every treatment to each person’s goals, using a mix of hands-on therapy, exercise programs and education to support long-term results. Frequently Asked Questions
What conditions do your physiotherapists and chiropractors treat?
Our team helps with a wide range of concerns, including back pain, neck pain, sports injuries, muscle and tendon strains, joint issues, headaches, posture-related issues and rehabilitation after surgery. We tailor treatment to your individual needs.
Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist or chiropractor?
No referral is needed. You can book directly with us, though some patients are referred by their GP or specialist. If you are using Medicare, DVA, or WorkCover, you may need a referral.
What should I expect at my first appointment?
At your first visit, your physiotherapist or chiropractor will take a detailed history, perform an assessment, and explain what’s happening with your body. You’ll also receive hands-on treatment and advice on exercises or lifestyle changes to support recovery.
How long are the sessions, and how many will I need?
Initial consultations are usually longer to allow for a full assessment, while follow-up appointments are shorter. The number of sessions depends on your condition and goals, but our focus is on helping you recover as effectively as possible without unnecessary visits.
How do I get to your clinic, and is parking available?
Our clinic is located next to a large council carpark, which you can enter via Oakville Road, making it easy to park nearby. If you're travelling by public transport, the 115 and 120 bus stops right next to the clinic. Check for directions on our map listing here for more.
I’m a new patient. What should I expect at my first appointment?
When booking, please select the “I am a new patient” appointment type. On your first visit, we’ll take time to understand your history, assess your condition, and begin treatment where appropriate. To help us get started:
What to wear:
-
Comfortable clothing that allows easy movement, such as gym wear. Bring shorts if we’re assessing your hip, knee, or ankle, and for shoulder assessments, females may want to bring a singlet.
What to bring:

- 2. Any reports from scans, x-rays, ultrasounds, or MRIs
- 3. Medicare referral and card (if provided by your GP). Note that a referral is not required to book with us.
